As part of World Vegan Day, Gecko’s friend SJ (of kids telly fame) got semi-naked in Trafalgar Square and lay on a plate, with super sized chips and peas.
SJ only became a Vegetarian six years ago, and about a year ago decided to go vegan, she now works with a range of vegan companies and charities to encourage veganism and raise awareness of cruelty to animals.

Today we at Gecko decided it was definitely soup weather – chilly and bright. So, we opened a tetra-pack of New Covent Garden Souper Greens soup.

It looked truly horrid… but tasted delicious! Consensus in the office – we will be it enjoying again!

And, now we want to win a farm! When so many are currently looking for a ‘change of direction’ or to ‘move to the country’ what a fabulous piece of marketing!

During a visit to our local Waitrose, Gecko was delighted to see that Moo Free was on the shelf!
And, it was obvious that people had been buying the delicious Moo Free chocolate drops and Moo Free chocolate bars too!

We couldn’t resist – so we bought some of this fabulous dairy free chocolate too as a little treat – yummy!

Friends of Gecko know that we are big fans of Collies. So, this year when we decided to have a go at growing some veg we thought we would try some cauli… and some kale, broccoli, onions, carrots and sprouts.

On a recent visit to the Moo Free Factory in Reading, Gecko met with Hammy Hamster who kindly gave us some of the delicious new flavours of dairy free choccie!

There are three fabulous dairy free bars: Organic Cranberry and Hazelnuts, Organic Banana and Caramelised Hazelnuts – we’re not sure which to eat first!
