Strictly speaking…Only a week until we find out who will be dancing! Gecko recently worked with Brendan Cole and we discovered what a thoroughly decent guy he was – and learned a few dance steps too. So, of course we will be supporting Brendan in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing – but who will his partner be?

Often work isn’t very glam – but sometimes we get to do some fab things at Gecko. We’ve been speaking to the agent of Caro Emerald (of Riviera Life and That Man fame) recently – so obviously felt we should go to see Caro’s first gig in the UK, it was fabulous. In the intimate surroundings of the Jazz Club she had the eclectic audience, dancing, singing and smiling – lots!

Afterwards it was great to say hi to Caro and the band.

We were looking through our images and found this one of Camilla Dallerup, who was the Strictly Come Dancing Champion in 2008, showing one of the Gecko team how to tango!

We’re looking forward to seeing who the contenders are for this year’s Strictly.

We had a great meeting with TV chef Jo Pratt – and showed her the recipe cards that were designed by our fabulous designer.

Jo really liked them – so we got her to sign a set for us!

She created the recipes exclusively for Freixenet, they are simple to make and delicious too!
